A primary grown yeast with added vitamins. Its golden color is derived from the natural deep yellow color of pure riboflavin. It has a mild, nut-like flavor which is free from any harsh yeasty odor or taste.  Non-GMO

Red Star specifically developed Vegetarian Support Formula (T6635+) Primary Grown Nutritional Yeast for those on a vegetarian diet. Red Star grows the yeast on enriched purified cane and beet molasses under carefully controlled conditions and then dries the product on drum dryers.

This Nutritional Yeast is a primary-grown nutritional yeast, meaning it is cultivated expressly for its nutritional components.
