Organic Date sugar is made from quality dates that are dehydrated and ground. This "sugar" works differently in food preparations because it does not dissolve as table sugar does. Prepared from California Deglet Noor dates which are clean, sound, pitted, amd mature. Contains anti-caking agents. Does not contain preservatives.
It is excellent in preparations that do not require the sugar to dissolve (such as in clear gelatins). Try it in crumb toppings, fillings, cereal, cakes, breads, muffins, crackers, cookies, and pies. May be used in place of brown sugar!
