A fine morning tradition that can be enjoyed at any hour. This full-bodied cup is the perfect way to start your day. Add milk and sugar to enhance your experience.
We are proud to support the Potong Tea Garden in Darjeeling, India. Once a colonial plantation, Potong is now collectively run by its workers, paving a stronger, more democratic path forward for the community. This revolutionary model generates significant improvements for the garden's 350 workers and their families, and is helping to spark a badly needed transformation of the tea industry. Most teas-even those that are certified as fair trade-come from large plantations where workers have little say and are trapped in a system of dependency. The small farmers who grow our teas control their land and their livelihoods. Together, we're building an alternative tea model and a farmer-led future for the tea industry.
