The Lakewood story begins with our founder, Fred Fuhrman, running a small fresh fruit business in the Allapattah neighborhood of Miami. Fred supported his family by delivering fruits and juices to the hotels on Miami Beach. This taught him the importance of hard work and high quality, of being a responsible steward of the environment, and of producing the most authentic product possible. Now, 85 years later, we’re still carrying out Fred’s vision of producing the finest, healthiest juice available.
